Cyber Hornet has introduced a new exchange-traded fund (ETF) that combines exposure to both the S&P 500 and XRP, marking a notable step in integrating cryptocurrencies with traditional equity investment products. The fund began operating on January 30, 2026, and trades under the ticker XXX on Nasdaq.
ETF Structure and Investment Approach
The ETF allocates approximately 75% of its assets to S&P 500 stocks and targets around 25% economic exposure to XRP. According to its official SEC prospectus, the ETF tracks both the S&P 500 and the S&P XRP 75/25 Blend Index. Direct investment in XRP is achieved through a Cayman Islands subsidiary, enabling the fund to comply with US regulations while holding the cryptocurrency securely.
S&P Dow Jones Indices, a prominent provider of benchmark indices, maintains the underlying blend index for this fund and rebalances it monthly. This allows investors to access a portfolio that brings together major US companies such as Nvidia, Microsoft, Apple, and Amazon alongside a significant allocation to XRP.
Mini dictionary: S&P Dow Jones Indices is a leading financial market index provider responsible for managing well-known benchmarks like the S&P 500 and sector-specific indices used by global investment funds.
Investors purchasing the XXX ETF are acquiring a unique mix of blue-chip US equities and direct XRP exposure, all within a single, regulated investment product.
XRP’s Integration into Mainstream Portfolios
XRP investment products have begun to move beyond standalone funds, gradually becoming components of more diversified, traditional portfolios. Coinpaper recently pointed out that Amplify includes its XRP income ETF within a broader ETF structure, while ProShares has integrated XRP-linked products alongside its other investment offerings.
Cyber Hornet’s ETF advances this trend by merging cryptocurrency and traditional equity exposure at the index level, presenting XRP as part of a balanced portfolio construction rather than a separate niche asset.
S&P Dow Jones Indices lists the Cyber Hornet fund as an official index-linked product tied to both its core S&P 500 and the S&P XRP Reference Price 75/25 Blend Index, increasing its credibility among institutional investors.
Despite this innovation, the fund’s size remains modest. Cyber Hornet reported net assets of approximately $540,000 as of September 9, showing that broader institutional adoption may take time.
ETF Ticker Exposure Net Assets (as of Sept. 9) Key Components
| XXX | 75% S&P 500, 25% XRP | $540,000 | Nvidia, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, XRP |
Cyber Hornet’s new fund places XRP directly beside leading US stocks, offering an innovative route for investors seeking exposure to both equities and digital assets within a single portfolio.
