HYPE price stays above $80 as ETF inflows and network activity climb

HYPE has maintained a price above $80, with current trading at $80.84 reflecting a 4.32% increase in the past 24 hours. The token remains in focus as activity levels across the Hyperliquid network stay elevated, and recent ETF net inflows provide additional attention.

ETF flows and network strength

Hyperliquid, a blockchain network known for its decentralized exchange (DEX) ecosystem and growing adoption, has seen HYPE-linked ETF products receive net inflows. Hyperliquid Daily, a platform tracking developments across the network, reported on September 11 that HYPE ETFs recorded a total net inflow of $356,560.

Bitwise BHYP contributed $331,890 in net inflows, Grayscale HYPG saw $82,430 added, while 21Shares THYP recorded a net outflow of $55,770. Bitwise accounted for the majority of positive flows during this period.

ETF Net Flow
Bitwise BHYP +$331,890
Grayscale HYPG +$82,430
21Shares THYP -$55,770
Total +$356,560

These inflows occur as HYPE’s price remains well above its major breakout level and ETF demand enters the picture alongside the current technical setup. While positive ETF flows represent increased institutional and investor interest, the data shows mixed results between providers and does not establish a direct causal link with price gains.

ETF tracking by Hyperliquid Daily indicates HYPE ETFs experienced $356,560 in net inflows as of September 11, led by Bitwise and Grayscale products, while some outflows were seen at 21Shares.

Technical structure and market momentum

HYPE recently broke its resistance at $69.18 and entered the $80-$90 trading range. The token then saw some cooling in price action, and current technical indicators show a moderation in near-term momentum. The MACD, a key momentum indicator in financial markets, has shifted with its line moving below the signal line and the histogram turning negative after the recent rally.

Despite the slowdown, the token remains well above its late summer breakout level at $69.18. A drop below this level could signal further weakness, while sustained trading above it keeps the bullish setup intact. Should a correction occur, additional support sits at $57.58.

Recent weeks also recorded elevated volume during HYPE’s late August and early September advance, though trading activity has cooled since the initial surge.

Network data and ecosystem activity

Data from DeFiLlama, a blockchain analytics platform, highlights ongoing growth on Hyperliquid L1—the network underlying HYPE. Total value locked (TVL) has increased from roughly $1.2 billion to $1.4 billion based on the latest available data. DEX trading volumes and the number of active wallet addresses also remain higher than previous periods, signaling continued usage and engagement across the platform.

Mini dictionary: DeFiLlama is an analytics dashboard tracking total value locked (TVL), trading volumes, and user activity across blockchains and decentralized finance protocols.

While increases in network metrics do not always translate to higher prices, they provide context for current price movements and reflect elevated participation within the Hyperliquid ecosystem.

Key levels and what’s next

For HYPE’s next move, analysts are monitoring whether the token can hold above $80 following its recent surge. Renewed buyer interest could push price higher and challenge recent highs, while a drop below $69.18 would likely shift attention to lower support zones. The market also observes the impact of ETF inflows and on-chain activity as potential influences on short-term price direction.

The ability of HYPE to maintain price stability above its breakout area remains crucial for sustaining the token’s upward trend, with ETF activity and blockchain data offering additional indicators to market participants.

JPMorgan: "Open source disruption" and "AI safety" are not issues, there is still room for capital expenditure in the next two years, semiconductor equipment will become the "new bottleneck"

JPMorgan believes that open-source models are not a threat, regulatory disruptions are only short-term, and cloud vendors’ leverage remains low—the fundamentals of computing power investment have not changed. It forecasts that the capital expenditure of the seven major tech giants will soar from $443 billion in 2025 to $1.577 trillion in 2027, with semiconductor equipment becoming the core bottleneck of the supply chain and a new round of price increases expected in wafer foundry and advanced packaging.
