12:53 PM EDT, 09/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- RB Global (RBA.TO, RBA) received Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) approval to amend its current normal course issuer bid (NCIB) to increase the maximum number of its common shares that may be bought back to be the lesser of 14.2-million shares. That will be about 10% of its total public float as of March 6 and that number of shares are worth $1 billion, it said in a statement on Tuesday. The previous NCIB only allowed the company to buy back up to the lesser of 10-million shares and that number of shares was worth $500 million. It has repurchased 5.4-million shares at an average price of about $93.22 apiece under the bid, as of Sept. 11. The company said it expects the NCIB amendments to be effective on Thursday. The NCIB will cancel on March 17, 2027, or an earlier date as the company may otherwise determine. Shares of RB Global were last seen up 2.8% at CA$120.22 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
