05:50 AM EDT, 09/16/2026 (MT Newswires) -- (Updates with attribution to Goldman Sachs throughout.) Goldman Sachs' (GS) asset management alternatives unit has raised $11.7 billion across its newest private equity funds and other vehicles, the company said Tuesday. The company said the fundraising included $9.6 billion for its West Street Capital Partners IX fund, $1.6 billion for its West Street Asia Equity Partners I, and $500 million for related vehicles. West Street Capital Partners' investments include a US cybersecurity audit firm, a European medical devices maker, and an American talent agency for athletes, the company said.
