09:07 AM EDT, 09/17/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Technology stocks were rising pre-bell Thursday, with the State Street Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) 1.8% higher and the State Street SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) advancing by 2.7%. Applied Materials (AMAT) will invest $5 billion in India over the next 10 years, news outlets reported. Shares of Applied Materials were up more than 3% premarket. Nebius Group (NBIS) shares were up more than 10% after the company said it's raising on-demand service rates for certain GPU, CPU and memory resources, effective Oct. 1. CoreWeave (CRWV) stock was down more than 2% after the company launched an at-the-market offering program to potentially distribute up to 35 million common shares and said it plans to offer $3.0 billion of its convertible senior notes due 2033 in a private offering.
