Reporters have learned from industry chain sources that the relevant Tesla team arrived in Ningbo on September 16 and began a new round of mass production factory audits for its robotics business on September 17. Previous industry chain news indicated that Tesla would launch a new round of factory audits in September, aiming to review the exclusivity and consistency of Optimus robot mass production, including assisting companies with equipment commissioning and transferring manufacturing capabilities from US factories. Reporters learned that this round of factory audits by Tesla will be substantively oriented towards the mass production of Optimus, and relevant orders have already been placed with supply chain companies. According to the plan, Tesla will roll out approximately 50,000 Optimus robots in 2026 and deploy them to its various Gigafactories worldwide. However, ordinary consumers still do not have channels to purchase the Optimus humanoid robot. (Wallstreetcn)
