The crypto market is trying to recover after the weakness seen earlier in August, but the move is still facing several important tests. Bitcoin is around $64,410 after recovering from the $63,000 area, while LINK and SOL are showing stronger signs of recovery. SUI remains under pressure, XRP has improving fundamentals but weak network activity, and ADA has longer-term development catalysts. Bitcoin's 4-hour chart shows a market that is still caught inside a broad range. After reaching around $66,800 in late July, BTC fell sharply to about $62,600 before forming a base. It later recovered toward $65,300, dropped again toward $63,000, and has now bounced sharply back into the $64,000 area. The immediate test is around $64,850. A break above that level could open the way toward $65,300 and then $65,567. If buyers can clear that zone with stronger volume, the next major target would be the $66,000 to $66,800 area. However, the recent recovery has not come with the kind of volume seen during the late-July selloff. That means the bounce is encouraging, but it has not yet confirmed a larger trend reversal. ETF Flows Keep Bitcoin Under Pressure: The biggest short-term concern is institutional flow. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $171.2 million in net outflows, their largest daily outflow in three weeks. BlackRock's IBIT recorded $41.9 million in outflows, while Fidelity, Bitwise and Ark also saw more than $30 million leave each. This does not necessarily mean institutions have turned permanently bearish. The selling has been linked to profit-taking, hedging and capital rotation during a period of wider macro uncertainty. Still, Bitcoin is trying to break higher while ETF flows are moving in the opposite direction. Ethereum's ETF picture is weaker, with $92.5 million in net outflows extending its negative streak to seven consecutive days. There is still evidence of demand for crypto exposure. Cboe has asked the SEC to approve triple-leveraged Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, while the existing 2x Bitcoin fund reportedly holds around $846 million. So short-term flows are weak, but interest in more aggressive crypto products remains strong. Strategy Adds Another Supply Risk: Strategy's sale of 3,588 BTC for around $216 million also puts future Bitcoin supply in focus. The company now holds 843,775 BTC, but the bigger concern is whether Bitcoin selling becomes a regular part of its financing strategy. Strategy has a Bitcoin monetization program that allows it to sell up to $1.25 billion worth of BTC for reserves, preferred dividends, interest payments and certain repurchases. Its financial position does not appear to create an immediate payment problem. The concern is what happens if Bitcoin sales stop being an occasional choice and become a recurring requirement. For BTC, that creates another reason why the $65,000 to $66,800 region may be difficult to clear without stronger demand. LINK Leads the Stronger Altcoin Setups: LINK is showing some of the strongest relative strength in the market. It has reached around $9.64 and gained more than 15% over the past week. The LINK/BTC pair has also risen 15.4% over the past month. Unique LINK holders have reached around 3.96 million, suggesting growing participation and accumulation. The token remains about 81.89% below its $52.70 all-time high, which is why some analysts see the current area as a long-term accumulation zone. The key level is $10.03. A break and hold above it would strengthen the recovery case, while $9.42 is identified as a potential pullback area. The larger upside target is $17.41. If LINK loses its recent recovery structure instead, the bullish accumulation idea becomes weaker. SOL and SUI Need Confirmation: SOL is also showing an early recovery structure. It is trading around $77 after forming a base between $70 and $75. Its short-term moving averages are close to a bullish crossover, while the daily RSI is around 57. The main test is $78 to $80. A clean break above that area could open the way toward $89. If SOL loses $75, however, attention could return to $70 and possibly $65. The high concentration of long positions also means a sharp reversal could trigger additional selling. SUI is more fragile. It is around $0.64 and has fallen 4.19% over 24 hours, 6% over seven days and 13.53% over 30 days. An analyst sees a potential accumulation area around the current price, with a bullish scenario involving a higher low near $0.6725 and a move toward $0.745. But the setup depends heavily on Bitcoin. A move below $0.65 would weaken the bullish case and show that sellers remain in control. XRP and ADA Offer Different Stories: XRP has strong fundamental developments but weak price action. Stablecoin supply on XRP Ledger rose 195.4% to $825.5 million, while tokenized RWA value increased 102.5% to $4.46 billion. XRP ETPs also recorded $253.6 million in inflows. The problem is network usage. Payment volume declined 26.6%, while transactions, active addresses and DEX volume also weakened. XRP was around $0.98 after falling more than 3.7%. ADA has a longer-term catalyst through private DeFi. Charles Hoskinson has highlighted privacy-preserving lending, order books and other applications designed to make DeFi more attractive to institutions. The Dijkstra upgrade and Midnight Network are also part of this broader development. These developments are important, but they do not yet provide a clear short-term price signal. The Main Levels: For Bitcoin, the bullish path starts with a clean move above $64,850, followed by $65,300 to $65,567. Holding above that area could bring $66,000 and $66,800 back into focus. The bearish path begins with a rejection around current resistance and a loss of $63,000. That would put $62,900 to $62,600 back in focus, with $61,400 as another important support. The wider market therefore remains balanced between recovery and renewed weakness. LINK and SOL are showing better momentum, while SUI still needs confirmation and XRP needs stronger network activity to match its improving fundamentals. For now, Bitcoin remains the main market filter. If BTC breaks through resistance, the stronger altcoin setups could gain more room. If it falls back below $63,000, the recent recovery would look more like another bounce inside the larger range rather than the start of a sustained up trend. $BTC $SUI $XRP
