Sinclair, Nexstar Media Launch Promotional Campaign for NextGenTV

12:22 PM EDT, 09/16/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Sinclair (SBGI) and Nexstar Media Group (NXST) said Wednesday they are launching a consumer education campaign to improve awareness and understanding of NextGenTV, the broadcast technology powered by ATSC 3.0. The GoNextGenTV campaign, beginning Thursday, will run across 13 markets served by Sinclair and Nexstar television stations, combining on-air promotion with digital and social content, the companies said. NextGenTV is over-the-air broadcast television technology that merges traditional airwaves with internet protocol data, according to the web site of the National Association of Broadcasters.
