- Sportswear brand ON Holding (ONON.N) announced on Friday that it has signed Kylian Mbappé, officially entering the football market and luring the French star away from Nike. Boosted by this news, the company’s shares listed in the U.S. rose by 5% in pre-market trading.

The company stated that ON, together with other emerging brands, has captured market share from a struggling Nike, and plans to launch its first football boots in 2027.

Nike has not yet responded to a request for comment.
