Update: On Partners With Kylian Mbappe for Soccer Products Testing and Development

01:34 PM EDT, 09/18/2026 (MT Newswires) -- (Updates with Mbappe's previous Nike deal in the fifth and sixth paragraphs.) On (ONON) said Friday it has partnered with soccer star Kylian Mbappe, where he will directly work with product teams engaged in the testing and development of soccer footwear and apparel. Mbappe will also represent the company as a global ambassador, according to the company. On said it also appointed former France and Arsenal player Thierry Henry as its director of football. The company plans to use its LightSpray shoemaking technology in its football products, according to a statement. Nike (NKE) chose not to renew its endorsement deal with Mbappe, CNBC reported, citing a person familiar with the matter. Nike decided to use its endorsement spending elsewhere after determining it had benefited from Mbappe's prime years, the report said. As US Treasury yields rise, the cost of borrowing short-term Treasuries surges, with traders aggressively building short positions

The US Treasury will conduct auctions of two-year, five-year, and seven-year Treasury bonds next week. Currently, traders are racing to borrow bonds to short them, driving the borrowing costs for short-term Treasuries sharply higher. On Friday, the overnight repo rate for borrowing the current two-year Treasury was about 0.79%, while the rate for the five-year even dropped to as low as -0.85%. In contrast, the repo rate for regular Treasuries was around 3.88%.
