NEAR Protocol outperforms major cryptocurrencies

NEAR Protocol, which operates a layer-1 blockchain featuring privacy-focused trading and an AI agent marketplace, has outpaced larger names including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP in recent months. The token’s price recently rose to $3.78, sharply higher than its year-to-date low of $0.85.

This performance places NEAR Protocol among the top gainers within the digital asset sector for the year. The token recently breached the key resistance at $3.08, marking the upper boundary of a cup-and-handle pattern. Technical analysts generally regard this pattern as a signal for potential continued upward movement.

NEAR has also moved above all major moving averages and the Supertrend indicator. The Average Directional Index (ADX) points to strengthening momentum. However, with its Relative Strength Index now at 85, the token is considered heavily overbought. This raises the possibility of a retreat to the $3.08 support before any renewed rally, consistent with a break-and-retest formation.

NEAR has broken above strong technical resistance, yet appears overbought with an RSI of 85, signaling near-term caution even as longer-term momentum stays positive.

Venice Token nears all-time high, targets $35

Venice Token is issued by Venice AI, a platform that enables users to access a variety of AI models from providers such as Anthropic, OpenAI, and Grok. The project uses a portion of fiat transaction fees to buy back and permanently remove VVV tokens from circulation, burning $702,000 in tokens last month and $673,000 to date this month.

VVV’s price currently stands at $27.25, just below its all-time high of $29.30. The token continues to trade above key resistance at $21.48 after completing a break-and-retest pattern and remains above all significant moving averages. Analysts set the next major target at $35, with current technicals supporting further gains.

Hyperliquid’s trading volume surpassed $240 billion over the past 30 days, considerably outpacing competitors such as Aster and Lighter.

The HYPE token recently retreated to $76, aligning with its highest level on June 16, before exceeding the critical resistance level of $89.38. With this break-and-retest pattern confirmed, technical analysts see an upward path with a next potential price target set at $100.
