According to The Block, since last Friday, the total network hash rate of Bitcoin is expected to drop by 25%, from around 600 EH/s to 450 EH/s. The reason is that the Texas Reliability Electric Council has asked businesses and residents in Texas to conserve electricity due to a cold wave.
