According to data from The Block's dashboard, the daily open interest in Ethereum futures on Binance and Bybit has reached a new all-time high. Among the top five derivatives exchanges, excluding the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), the open interest in Ethereum futures on all exchanges has reached historical highs. For example, Binance's open interest has surged to over $3.3 billion, while Bybit has reached $1.94 billion. An analyst stated that this growth indicates increasing confidence and participation in Ethereum futures trading, reflecting heightened interest from risk-seeking traders looking for higher volatility and leverage positions.
