Report: Two-thirds of EVM smart contract deployments since the beginning of the year come from Optimism
A report from Flipside Crypto shows that so far this year, two-thirds (about 70%) of EVM smart contract deployments have come from Optimism, which has deployed over 28.8 million EVMs since January 1st. The report states that for non-EVM smart contracts, Polygon and BNB Smart Chain (BSC) remain the most popular deployment chains. Unclassified smart contracts, or those categorized as "other" by Flipside Crypto, are the most frequently deployed to date, accounting for 93.8% of all observed on-chain smart contract deployments.
