Dowling Securities predicts that the month-on-month core CPI in the United States will slow to 0.3% in February
Dowling Securities' forecast for the US February CPI report shows that the core CPI month-on-month slowed to 0.3%, while last month's core CPI accelerated to 0.4%. The year-on-year core CPI will decrease from 3.9% in January to 3.7%. Due to the rebound in energy inflation in February, overall CPI is expected to increase by 0.4% on a monthly basis, remaining unchanged at 3.1% year-on-year.
