According to CME's "Fed Watch", the probability of the Federal Reserve keeping interest rates unchanged in May is 96.9%, and the cumulative probability of a 25 basis point cut is 3.1%. The likelihood of the Fed maintaining steady rates until June stands at 81.0%, with an accumulated chance for a 25 basis point reduction at 18.5% and a cumulative possibility for a 50 basis point cut at just 0.5%.
