BTC options with a nominal value of 1.5 billion USD and ETH options worth 800 million USD are due to expire
Data from Greeks.live shows that on April 12, the options delivery data is as follows: 21,000 BTC options expired with a Put Call Ratio of 0.62, the biggest pain point being $69,000 and a nominal value of $1.5 billion. In addition, 230,000 ETH options expired with a Put Call Ratio of 0.49, the biggest pain point being $3425 and a nominal value of $800 million. Greeks.live indicates that this week's volatility in the crypto market has significantly increased; there is fierce competition at both $70,000 and $3500 levels but major term IVs have noticeably decreased. Selling bullish has been the main transaction this month; halving expectations seem to be overly discounted.
