WorldCoin Foundation: Applications for the Community Grant Program WAVE1 are now open and will close on May 24

The WorldCoin Foundation has announced that the community funding program WAVE1 is now open for applications. In Wave1, WorldCoin has introduced the following categories:

1. Improved developer experience and tools: solutions and infrastructure that make it easier for other developers to develop on Worldcoin;

2. Digital identity: projects and research based on World ID, or projects and research that make it easier for others to integrate, implement, and utilize new applications;

3. Ecosystem growth: community initiatives and activities to promote the expansion of World ID globally;

4. Governance: projects, research, and experiments that use WorldID and explore new areas of decentralized governance;

5. To be determined.

Similar to Wave0, applicants can apply for up to $10,000 in community grants, $50,000 in project grants, and more open projects and RFPs. Relevant applications must be submitted before the deadline of May 24, 2024.
