Toncoin surpasses Dogecoin to become the eighth largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization
According to U.Today, Toncoin (TON) has surpassed Dogecoin (DOGE) in terms of market capitalization, becoming the eighth largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization. Toncoin has gained 16.1% in the past 24 hours, reaching $7.10. This brings its weekly gain to 28.3%, compared with DOGE's 19.1% decline during the same period. Currently, Toncoin’s market cap is $24,497,306,751, surpassing Dogecoin’s $24,015,338,443. Although the gap between the two is small, it is unclear whether TON can continue to lead DOGE. However, this rare feat undoubtedly has members of the Toncoin ecosystem rejoicing. Toncoin has been on a parabolic rise since the beginning of this year, with a year-to-date growth rate of 205.7%, far exceeding Bitcoin’s 57.13%. Toncoin has strong ambitions and may surpass XRP in the long term. In addition, Toncoin’s unique technology has helped it expand the decentralized applications built on it, and its close association with Telegram is also a factor driving its growth. Overall, the Toncoin ecosystem is home to many ambitious users who form a tight-knit community that drives innovation on the network.
