Tezos: tzBTC 2.0 has been launched to improve the automation of minting and burning
Proof-of-stake blockchain Tezos announced on social media that it has released tzBTC 2.0. It is reported that tzBTC 2.0 is an improved and iterative version of tzBTC. One key innovation of tzBTC 2.0 is the use of the Acurast execution environment to automate minting and burning. The Tezos Foundation will subsidize a fixed annual fee so that Gatekeepers can mint and burn for free, addressing the drawback of the original version of tzBTC, which was limited to a few large organizations.
