MakerDAO announces the Spark Tokenization Grand Prix competition, aiming to tokenize $1 billion in real-world assets and introduce them into MakerDAO. The competition is open to all innovators and issuers, with selected partners receiving up to $1 billion in liquidity support. Applications will open on August 12, 2024, with judges from Phoenix Labs and Steakhouse Financial evaluating based on criteria such as pricing, liquidity, and strategic alignment. Ultimately, MKR token holders will select the winner through governance voting.
