Ether Spot ETF Final Approval Coming Soon
Spot ETF issuers are expected to receive final comments from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) early next week, possibly as early as July 12th. The source declined to be named as discussions with issuers are private. Analysts expect that ETH could attract billions of dollars in inflows in the months following its listing, which could drive the spot price of ethereum sharply higher. Cryptocurrency analyst Mark Dunleavy said that ETH "has less supply on exchanges, which means fewer orders and less to buy," so the spot price of ETH will be more responsive to demand for ETF purchases than BTC.
