Starknet is about to release Cairo 2.7.0, and plans to upgrade the mainnet on August 26

Odaily News According to the Starknet community, Cairo 2.7.0 is about to be released. Currently 2.7.0-rc.3 is available and can be tested by the community. This version involves upgrading Sierra to v1.6.0, which means that contracts written in v2.7.0 can only be deployed in Starknet 0.13.2 (inclusive) and above. The testnet upgrade is scheduled for August 5, and the mainnet upgrade is scheduled for August 26.
