Deribit's Big Trade of the Day: A User Buys Aug. 9 Bitcoin $74K Calls
According to data released by Deribiti officials, a user bought $74,000 in bitcoin calls on August 9 (next Friday), totaling 300 BTC and paying $318,200 in royalties.
Officials analyzed that the operation was bullish and that the user was playing around with this week's macro data (interest rate resolution, unemployment rate, non-farm payrolls, etc.), believing that they are all positive and driving the market up.
