The Bitcoin-themed sneakers launched by Trump sold out within two hours
On August 1, according to Coinpost, Trump released a limited edition sports shoe themed around the cryptocurrency Bitcoin. The high-top shoes, marked with the Bitcoin logo, were limited to 1,000 pairs and each pair was priced at $499. They sold out just two hours after the announcement. Prior to this news, Trump had posted on social media about launching these limited edition sports shoes that support payment in Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies. The shoes are printed with "Trump, CryptoPresident".
