The three major U.S. stock indexes closed collectively higher, the Dow rose 0.76%, the Nasdaq rose 1.03%, the S&P 500 index rose 1.03%, most of the popular technology stocks rose, Nvidia, Meta rose more than 3%, Microsoft rose more than 1%, Apple fell nearly 1%. Semiconductors, travel services, precious metals rose, Nano Semiconductor rose more than 5%, Audemars Piguet rose more than 4%, Arm rose more than 2%.
