According to Lookonchain's monitoring statistics, the U.S. government has transferred a total of 15,940 Bitcoins, valued at approximately $966.4 million, to Coinbase Prime on three separate occasions so far this year.
In the three days following each of the first two transfers, the price of BTC fell by about 5 percent, according to statistics.
