Greeks.live: Bitcoin options with a nominal value of 1.4 billion dollars are being delivered today
Greeks.live researcher Adam posted on social media the options delivery data for August 16. 24,000 BTC options are about to expire with a Put Call Ratio of 0.83 and the maximum pain point at $59,500, with a nominal value of $1.4 billion. Also, 184,000 ETH options are about to expire with a Put Call Ratio of 0.80 and the maximum pain point at $2,650, with a nominal value of $470 million. The expiring options for this week account for approximately 10% of total holdings; currently the holding volumes in August, September and December are relatively close - all slightly over 20%. From an option data perspective: option term distribution is quite even; term structure is also fairly stable; recent expectations for future market volatility have gradually decreased as markets will slowly enter into stability.
