Bitwise Researcher: The shortage of BTC supply is more severe than most people imagine
Bitwise Europe's Research Director, André Dragosch, posted on social media that the purchasing behavior of enterprises alone has almost absorbed all the newly mined Bitcoin supply. Currently, the annual new Bitcoin supply is about 164,000 BTC. More importantly, this does not include the purchase demand from other key buyers such as ETFs, governments, trading platforms and DeFi. The shortage of BTC supply is more severe than most people realize.
