The U.S. PPI rose 1.7% year-on-year in August, compared with the estimate of 1.7% and the previous value of 2.2%; the U.S. PPI rose 0.2% year-on-year in August, compared with the estimate of 0.1%, and the previous value was revised from a rise of 0.1% to zero.
