In terms of annual income, the company is expected to make about $3.7 billion this year and will skyrocket to $11.6 billion next year. However, an analysis by a financial professional who has also seen the related documents shows that after paying for costs associated with service operations as well as other expenses such as employee salaries and office rent, the company is expected to lose about $5 billion this year. OpenAI will need to continue raising funds in the coming year because its expenditures increase with the number of people using its products.
