Fed minutes: vast majority of members support cutting rates by 50 basis points
On 10 October, the minutes of the Federal Reserve meeting: the vast majority of members supported a 50 basis point cut in interest rates.
Some participants noted that there was a reasonable case for a 25 basis point cut at the July meeting.
