Trump: Senators seeking high-level positions must support recess appointments
Trump stated on the X platform, "Any Republican senator who wants to obtain the coveted position of Senate leader must agree to appointments during recesses (within the Senate), otherwise we will not be able to confirm candidates in time. Sometimes voting may take two years or even longer. They did this four years ago, and we cannot let this happen again. We need to fill positions immediately! In addition, no judges should be approved during this period because Democrats want their judges passed while Republicans are vying for leadership. This is unacceptable."
