Tim Draper predicts that Bitcoin will reach $250,000 by 2025, and it will increase 30 times in the future
Famous Silicon Valley investor Tim Draper is more optimistic about the prospects of Bitcoin, predicting its value will increase 30 times. In an interview in November, Draper expressed his firm belief in Bitcoin's dominant position as a global currency. When the price of Bitcoin exceeds $90,000, he predicts that it may rise 30 times to nearly $3 million. He explained: "Bitcoin will become the currency of the future. I don't know if it's five years later or ten years later or when. But one day you can use bitcoin to buy food, clothes and housing and pay taxes with bitcoin."
He also reviewed his predictions for Bitcoin: "My first prediction was in 2014 when the price of Bitcoin was $180. I said it would rise to $10,000 three years later. Sure enough by the end of 2017, the price of Bitcoin reached $10,000. Since then I haven't been so prescient anymore; I thought that by 2022 bitcoin would reach $250k but my prediction seems to be late by three years." He attributed this delay to “the government’s weak stance on only regulating new technology instead encouraging it.” Draper is enthusiastic about potential impacts from Trump administration on private sector soon taking office . He pointed out that Trump's election had a significant impact on cryptocurrency landscape.
