German tokenization company Cashlink obtains cryptocurrency custody license
On December 20, the German tokenization company Cashlink obtained a cryptocurrency custody license, having previously held a cryptocurrency securities registrar license. According to German law, when securities are issued on DLT, a registrar can be used instead of a Central Securities Depository (CSD). With this new license, it can now manage private keys related to the tokenized securities it participates in issuing and registering.
