According to Cointelegraph, the Dubai Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (VARA) has issued a warning about the risks associated with Meme coins, advising investors not to invest in speculative and unregulated assets. On February 13th, Dubai's crypto regulatory body warned investors that Meme coins are high-risk and unregulated; these assets are speculative, volatile, and easily manipulated by the market. Many such assets lack intrinsic value; their pricing comes from social media trends, hype or misleading promotional strategies. VARA urges investors to be cautious when receiving unrealistic return promises and emphasizes that such promises often indicate fraudulent behavior. The regulator also warns that Meme coins could collapse quickly leading to significant financial losses in a short period of time. In its investor warning, VARA stated that any Meme coin issued from Dubai must comply with rules enforced by VARA which includes marketing regulations covering promotions, advertisements and solicitation; entities engaging in unauthorized virtual asset activities may face enforcement action.

She partially attributed inflationary pressures to higher oil prices caused by the Iran conflict, and expects the energy shock to subside as hostilities ease. Yellen refuted the notion of an AI bubble, arguing that investments by major tech companies are grounded in solid business logic.
