Solayer Labs' income-based stablecoin sUSD is integrated into the Plume RWA protocol ecosystem, opening up an on-chain channel for government bond returns

On February 17th, Solayer Labs, the publisher of Solana's income-generating stablecoin, announced that its interest-bearing stablecoin sUSD has officially joined the RWA protocol ecosystem and staking platform NestCredit under Plume Network. As an income-generating stablecoin supported by US Treasury bonds on the Solana chain, sUSD achieves real-time income distribution by anchoring the underlying assets of government bonds, providing institutional-level custody and low-risk income exposure for on-chain users.

This integration focuses on three core functions: enabling permissionless on-chain treasury bond yield access through the Plume ecosystem, improving price discovery efficiency based on inter-protocol liquidity pools, and building an interactive channel connecting traditional financial assets with DeFi applications. Solayer Labs clarified in the announcement that the access to sUSD will prioritize serving the underlying asset module of the NestCredit staking protocol, providing a verifiable yield generation mechanism for the RWA market.

The Plume Network development team added that the cooperation between the two parties aims to open up a compliance deposit path for institutional capital, while promoting the large-scale application of on-chain RWA through a sustainable real income model.

Besent “Extinguishes Fire”: Rising US Treasury yields are a global phenomenon, dismisses concerns over AI bubble

U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen defended the rise in U.S. Treasury yields, stating that this increase is a global phenomenon rather than unique to the United States, and does not warrant excessive concern. She partially attributed inflationary pressures to higher oil prices caused by the Iran conflict, and expects the energy shock to subside as hostilities ease. Yellen refuted the notion of an AI bubble, arguing that investments by major tech companies are grounded in solid business logic.
