Jupiter has released the "GOAT framework" for JUP tokens, aiming to make JUP the best token in the industry
On February 27, the Jupiter team officially announced the "GOAT framework" for JUP tokens, aiming to make JUP the best token in the crypto industry (GOAT, Greatest of All Time) through four core dimensions.
Governance: JUP supports meaningful crypto governance. Important future matters of Jupiter have been decided by JUP DAO, including working group budgets and adjustments to token economics (such as a 30% supply burn and "Jupuary" events).
Organic: JUP emphasizes authenticity and transparency, rejecting common behind-the-scenes trading practices in the industry. The team stated that they have never engaged in over-the-counter (OTC) trades, hired KOL promotions or manipulated markets, always maintaining organic development of tokens.
Alignment: The design of JUP tokens aims to achieve long-term synergy among holders, community members, teams and ecosystems to promote common goals - expanding ecosystem scale and accelerating decentralization process. Not only does it incentivize team goals but also effectively motivates community members and DAO voters.
Transparency: With transparency at its core, three audits have been completed on JUP ensuring every single token's origin is traceable. All multi-signature wallet information is public with detailed records for each large amount of token flow.
The Jupiter team states that the GOAT framework is a result of their first year's efforts with JUP aimed at establishing its position as a long-term token while becoming an industry benchmark for token integrity. They emphasize not simply categorizing JUP as governance or utility tokens but focusing on making it an industry “GOAT” token.
