Sixth Street invests 200 million dollars in blockchain lending company Figure
The global investment company Sixth Street has invested 200 million dollars in Figure Technology Solutions, a lending company based in the United States that uses blockchain technology to improve the efficiency of the lending market and reduce costs. This investment will enable Figure to issue up to 2 billion dollars in new loans and help the company expand into other lending markets.
Figure Technology mainly provides home improvement loans, but also offers commercial loans and debt consolidation services. It also operates a personal loan business, allowing cryptocurrency investors to borrow in the form of secured loans. The Figure website claims that it has served over 100,000 households from 47 states in the United States.
