  • Lucie compares BONE to Cardano and XRP, suggesting that long-term holders could see substantial growth after periods of stagnation.
  • Despite recent setbacks, BONE’s future growth potential aligns with the historical paths of Cardano and XRP, emphasizing patience in crypto investments.

Lucie, a content marketer for Shiba Inu, has raised hopes for the long-term upside of BONE, the Shibarium gas token, by drawing comparisons to the growth stories of Cardano (ADA) and XRP.

Despite BONE’s recent poor performance and slow adoption, Lucie has urged investors to remain patient, suggesting that the token could follow the same pattern as Cardano and XRP, which saw extended periods of stagnation before experiencing price surges.

Lucie’s comparison to Cardano and XRP reveals a key trend in the crypto market: Many early-stage cryptocurrencies undergo prolonged periods of low trading activity before their value increases.

Cardano, which launched in 2017, initially struggled to gain momentum. The project began with a market capitalization of $600 million and a token price of $0.02. However, over time, Cardano’s market capitalization grew to over $23 billion, showing a steady increase in its value despite early slowdowns.

Before you’re giving up on BONE, think of Cardano (2017) or XRP ( 2012) —both were pretty flat for years.

Similarly, XRP faced an even longer path to growth. Launched in 2012 at around $0.10 per token, XRP experienced several setbacks, including a price drop to a historic low of $0.002802. Nevertheless, XRP rebounded and is now valued at approximately $2.34, with a market capitalization exceeding $135 billion.

BONE’s Current Market Performance

BONE, currently trading at $0.2479, has a market valuation of $63.39 million and a 24-hour trading volume of $5.96 million. However, the token has experienced a decline of 9.83% in the last 24 hours and a fall of 6.69% in the past week. Despite these setbacks, as reported by ETHNews, some still see BONE as having untapped potential, especially with Shibarium’s expanding ecosystem and adoption.

The slow adoption and underperformance of BONE have raised questions among investors, but Lucie’s remarks emphasize the importance of patience in the crypto market. She believes that long-term holders of BONE may see returns if the token mirrors the growth patterns seen in projects like Cardano and XRP.

Long-Term Prospects for BONE

Lucie’s comparison of BONE to Cardano and XRP points to a common strategy among cryptocurrency enthusiasts: buying valued assets with strong fundamentals, even during periods of stagnation. This approach has been proven successful for early investors in projects that eventually gained mass adoption.

While BONE’s future remains uncertain, Lucie’s message is clear: Patience can be a key factor in reaping the rewards from solid crypto projects. With Shibarium gaining traction, BONE’s role in the ecosystem could grow, leading to greater adoption and potentially higher value.

The historical paths of Cardano and XRP show that long-term holders who stick with their investments can see their portfolios grow substantially, even after periods of minimal growth.

BONE’s current market struggles are not necessarily indicative of its future performance. Much like Cardano and XRP, the token may experience a period of stagnation before seeing explosive growth. Investors who believe in BONE’s long-term potential may be rewarded if the token follows the path of its predecessors.

The core logic is that AI turns failed experiments into valuable training data, and wet laboratories are transforming from "medicine making" to "data creation." DNA synthesis, protein production, and CROs may become the earliest beneficiaries as the "pick-and-shovel sellers."
