SHIB Price Surge Incoming? Agent Shiboshi’s Burn Feature Slashes Token Supply
Shiba Inu (SHIB) bucks the market trend with a new game introducing SHIB token burns through its innovative duel format.
The developers of Agent Shiboshi, a blockchain-based game built on the Shiba Inu network, have introduced a new 1v1 duel format, which could drive increased demand for SHIB.
According to Lucie, head of marketing for the Shiba Inu ecosystem, players can compete in these duels and claim 80% of their wagered tokens, while 10% of each wager will go toward burning SHIB.
To participate, players must pay an entry fee of 50,000 SHIB (approximately $0.6825).
With 10% allocated to the burn pool, this translates to roughly 7 cents worth of SHIB burned per duel, potentially reducing supply as more players engage.
SHIB Rises for 4 Days in a Row Despite the Market’s Weakness
Token burns reduce a token’s circulating supply, creating scarcity that can drive short-term price increases.
Shiba Inu (SHIB) is up 0.8% in the past 24 hours, trading at $0.00001364, bucking the broader meme coin trend. Dogecoin (DOGE) and Bonk (BONK) have dropped 2.9% and 3%, while the overall meme coin market cap has declined 3% to $55.5 billion.
Yesterday, President Donald Trump signed an executive order (EO) establishing a U.S. Strategic Bitcoin Reserve and a Digital Asset Stockpile.
However, the EO specified that only government-owned assets would be included, disappointing investors and triggering a market-wide sell-off.
Despite this, SHIB has remained resilient, posting gains for four consecutive days. However, it has yet to fully recover from Monday’s sharp decline.
The daily chart shows that the asset is still on a downtrend. To reverse this, SHIB would have to break above the $0.00001530 level in the next few days.
Momentum indicators favor a bullish outlook as the Relative Strength Index (RSI) moved above the signal line. The MACD’s histogram shows some erratic behavior and shows no clear direction.
SHIB’s upside potential seems limited at the time. However, top crypto presales like MIND of Pepe ($MIND) offer significant upside potential to early buyers.
