Analyst: Options Market Data Shows Traders Are Reassessing Bitcoin Bullish Expectations
On 11 March, analyst Omkar Godbole reportedly said that the recent cryptocurrency market downturn has led traders to reassess their bullish expectations, with the most popular bitcoin options bets on CEX shifting from $120,000 calls to $100,000 calls. Currently, the notional open interest for $100,000 calls is $1.55 billion, while the notional open interest for $120,000 calls is $1.33 billion. As of today, post-May call pricing remains bullish, with the dollar value of all open calls exceeding $16 billion.
