IOTA releases decentralized identity framework IOTA Identity Alpha
PANews reported on March 22 that IOTA has released the Alpha version of its decentralized identity framework, IOTA Identity. The aim is to provide a framework for authentication, verification and secure data exchange.
The new version is now live on the testnet based on MoveVM. Migrating from the previous Stardust VM to MoveVM can enhance programmability on-chain while improving privacy through off-chain verifiable credentials.

Altaris Completes Acquisition of Simulations Plus

The transaction price was $375 million, with each Simulations shareholder receiving $18.50 in cash per share, according to an earlier statement. As a result of the acquisition, Simulations said it has become a privately held company and its common stock will no longer trade on the Nasdaq Global Select Market.
