DeFi protocol Linear Finance announces it will cease operations
According to official news, DeFi protocol Linear Finance has announced it will cease operations, stating that despite years of dedication to innovation and development, the project failed to achieve sustainable returns. Apart from a brief period of profit in early 2019/2020, Linear Finance has been facing increasing financial pressure. The project's funds mainly come from personal contributions by the project owners and token liquidation, but this model is no longer viable. CEX decided to delist LINA tokens, exacerbating the project's financial difficulties and leading to a 65% shrinkage in market value while significantly reducing remaining operational funds. Therefore, key stakeholders have jointly decided to end operations. The operating team will contact users with active positions as soon as possible and provide detailed schedules and guidance.
