BlackRock finds more clients seeking to reduce U.S. asset exposure to increase diversification
According to a report by Jinse Finance, BlackRock, the world's largest asset management company, has observed a growing interest among its global clients in reallocating assets from the United States to other markets. Elaine Wu, Head of Investments and Portfolio Solutions for BlackRock Asia Pacific, stated at a media briefing in Hong Kong on Wednesday that a recent company survey showed that over 20% of clients are considering reducing their exposure to the U.S. market and the U.S. dollar. Wu noted, "A significant number of people are focusing on Asian equity allocations." However, she also added that some clients remain interested in the U.S. market, and those who are currently reducing their U.S. asset allocations may return in the future.

In the third quarter, Korean retail investors made net purchases of US stocks worth approximately 10.15 trillion won, marking a complete reversal from the previous pattern in the first half of the year, when they made net purchases of nearly 100 trillion won in KOSPI stocks.
