Unwrapped DAO, a Community of Spotify Users, Sells Spotify Usage Data via Vana Infrastructure
Foresight News reports that the community Unwrapped DAO, composed of Spotify users, has voted to tokenize their Spotify usage data and sell the dataset to the AI music platform SoloAI. The transaction was executed using the decentralized infrastructure of the data sovereignty protocol Vana, allowing users to pool their data and receive VRC-20 data tokens. The VRC-20 data tokens grant contributors programmable control, value-sharing rights, and on-chain voting rights, and can also be used to authorize access to the dataset.
Currently, Unwrapped (music data) ranks second in Vana Epoch 6.
