3 Altcoins You Should Keep an Eye on in July 2025

  • SUI: Price nears $4 as token unlock event sparks renewed market interest.
  • HYPE: Liquidity and bullish indicators suggest another rally after recent all-time high.
  • DOT: Elastic Scaling upgrade could push price higher if $4.61 resistance breaks.

July seems like a turning point for some altcoins, and three names stand out right now. While Bitcoin grabs attention, other promising tokens are quietly gaining ground with strong fundamentals and market shifts. SUI, HYPE, and DOT each show solid reasons to track them closely this month. From token unlocks to network upgrades and rising liquidity, these projects carry real momentum. If you’re watching for strong setups, this list offers plenty of action.

Sui (SUI)

SUI continues to climb after shaking off a sudden disruption in late May. A hack targeting Cetus Protocol, the top DEX on the Sui network, briefly knocked SUI’s price down. But the bulls returned quickly. SUI trades near $4, regaining investor confidence and attention. One factor to monitor is the upcoming token unlock. On July 1, Sui plans to release 44 million tokens. That’s worth around $163 million, or 1.32% of the circulating supply. Token unlocks often stir price swings. If demand meets supply, SUI could stabilize or surge. If not, expect short-term dips. This makes SUI an exciting token to watch this month.

Hyperliquid (HYPE)

HYPE exploded to an all-time high of $39.68 in late May. That rally helped push the token into the top 15 by market cap. At the same time, liquidity across the Hyperliquid platform increased fast. In early May, the TVL sat around $300 million. Now, it stands above $500 million. That growth signals strong belief from investors. Despite a recent price pullback, momentum remains alive. The MACD still leans bullish. The Bull Bear Power indicator has also stayed green, showing continued upside potential. With technical indicators flashing strength, HYPE could soon restart its upward move. If buyers step in again, another rally may not be far off.

Polkadot (DOT)

Source: Trading View

Polkadot deserves attention thanks to its incoming upgrade. The project plans to roll out Elastic Scaling, a system that allows parachains to adjust computing resources based on usage. This change will complete the Polkadot 2.0 transition. Kusama already runs it live. Polkadot’s mainnet may adopt it fully by the end of July. This upgrade aims to improve network performance across the board. That includes better throughput, faster processing, and lower delays. Traders also spot a bullish chart pattern forming—an inverse head and shoulders. DOT needs to break the $4.61 neckline. If that happens, a move to $6 looks possible in the weeks ahead.

SUI, HYPE, and DOT each carry major catalysts into July 2025. SUI rebounds strong while preparing for a large token unlock. HYPE holds bullish momentum supported by rising liquidity. DOT readies for a game-changing upgrade that may shift price direction. These altcoins look primed for movement, and smart traders are already paying attention.

This move marks the official extension of a key link in the AI packaging supply chain to the United States. Analysis indicates that the five-year long-term contract reflects TSMC's strong long-term outlook for silicon interposer demand. Meanwhile, Taiwanese companies UMC and PSMC are actively expanding capacity to compete for orders, but this major order has been secured by GlobalFoundries, meaning that American production capacity will become a new factor in the silicon interposer market landscape over the next five years.
