World Liberty Financial, a cryptocurrency project associated with U.S. President Donald Trump, made a new on-chain move by acquiring 3.473 ETH on Tuesday. The purchase was identified by data from Arkham Intelligence and disclosed by the analytics firm Lookonchain.
The volume acquired by World Liberty Financial totaled approximately US$13 million, considering the average price of US$3.743 per Ether unit. The assets were distributed among several wallets and then allocated to the Aave platform, signaling an active strategy for utilizing the acquired tokens in the DeFi ecosystem.

With this transaction, the project now holds approximately 73.616 ETH, valued at approximately US$275,9 million, according to Lookonchain estimates. This move comes at a time of strong institutional capital inflows into Ethereum, as reflected in last Tuesday's market data.
On the same date, Ethereum spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded $533,9 million in net inflows, contrasting with Bitcoin ETFs, which saw a net outflow of $67,9 million. This movement suggests a shift in the focus of some institutional capital toward Ethereum.
Despite showing slight stability over the last 24 hours, ETH has appreciated 20% this week and 67,1% in the last 30 days, according to market data. The asset remains the second-largest cryptocurrency by market value, sustaining continued interest from projects and institutional investors.
In addition to the purchasing activity, World Liberty is also preparing for the unlocking of its WLFI token. According to the project team, "our goal is 6 to 8 weeks for full awakening—strategic alignments (alliances, major stages, smart unlocks) take time to reach their full potential."
The WLFI token is not yet available for trading, but the anticipated launch is generating market attention, especially given World Liberty's growing presence in the Ethereum sector and decentralized protocols like Aave.
