21Shares strategist: Geopolitical tensions may boost Bitcoin's rise
PANews, January 6 — According to Walter Bloomberg, 21Shares strategist Matt Mena stated that the recent rebound in bitcoin indicates that escalating geopolitical tensions are driving investors toward cryptocurrencies. He noted that bitcoin is increasingly being seen as a "neutral" reserve asset, standing alongside traditional safe-haven assets such as gold and silver. Bitcoin fell by more than 6% last year, but historically, it has never experienced two consecutive years of decline, which provides a basis for bitcoin's rise this year.
