ProCap Chairman Anthony: Wall Street is changing the bitcoin game, and there may be no more "surge" markets in the next 10 years
Foresight News reported that ProCap Chairman Anthony Pompliano analyzed on the X platform the reasons why bitcoin's performance in 2025 may fall short of expectations. He pointed out that the decline in bitcoin is the result of multiple trends acting together, including the fact that Wall Street has changed the rules of the bitcoin game. As bitcoin is incorporated into the traditional financial system, some early holders are exiting. However, at the same time, the risk associated with bitcoin is now lower than at any point in history. Its decentralization now covers everyone from individual retail investors to large financial institutions, and it has demonstrated its resilience through multiple economic crises. However, lower risk also leads to lower returns. Although bitcoin is expected to continue outperforming stock indices over the next decade, it is unlikely to see the compound annual growth rates of over 80% witnessed in the past.
